OP Medical Director receives the 2017 Byron Oberst Award

Susan J. Kressly, M.D., FAAP, Office Practicum (OP) medical director and founder/owner of Kressley Pediatrics in Warrington, PA, is the proud recipient of the 2017 Byron Oberst Award. This award was presented to Dr. Sue Kressley during the Council on Clinical Information Technology (COCIT) education program at the this year’s AAP National Conference and Exhibition in Chicago.

The Byron Oberst Award is presented by the COCIT to a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics (FAAP) who has made a significant contribution to the pediatric health information technology industry. Kressley was nominated for the improvements she has made to the industry and how she has educated child health professionals in the use of clinical information technology.

Dr. Kressly is a member of the Council on Quality Improvement and Patient Safety, the Section on Telehealth Care, e-PROS (Pediatric Research in Office Settings), the Task Force on Pediatric Practice Change, and the Child Health Informatics Center Program Advisory Committee. She also is the Section on Administration and Practice Management liaison to the Private Payer Advocacy Advisory Committee.
